Alternate history: the Secular Non Partisan Constitutional Federation of Cascadia

WORK IN PROGRESS.

(The above image comes from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_Cascadia.svg.)

Shortly after the expedition of Lewis and Clark, a group of mainly classical liberal and minarchist minded settlers, along with some Native American refugees, started settling in the Northwestern United States, along with a number of people coming into western Canada, with the group crossing the U.S.-Canadian border, legally or not. Not wanting to be slaves of the central banks, a peaceful independence movement was formed by a group commonly known as the “Cascadians”, with an unclear name origin.

However, after they failed, they fought for their independence, and formed their own republic modeled after the U.S. republic and had a constitution similar to that of the U.S., but with stronger protections for human rights regardless of ethnicity or religion, included animal rights, prohibited income taxes (only sales taxes are permitted, and those are limited), prohibited the establishment of political parties, made it illegal to bribe public officials and agents, and is overall more restrictive on government.

After this, Cascadia virtually became a libertarian paradise, with some of the most personal and economic freedom in the world, and, other than border skirmishes with the U.S. and Canada, is a relatively peaceful and very stable nation.

After the formation of the Secular Nonpartisan Federation of Cascadia, aka, SNCF of Cascadia, or Cascadia for short, fought several border wars and near constant skirmishes with the U.S. and Canada, especially with Cascadian civilian militias assisting Native Americans and Native Canadians right up until the early 1900’s.
Cascadia’s borders expanded from Oregon in the South to Yukon in the North, and from Alaska in the west to Western Montana and Western Wyoming.

In the 1870’s, Cascadia bought Alaska from Russia. This investment paid off with Alaskan gold and oil. In 1917, Cascadia purchased the Virgin Islands from Denmark, and did the same to Iceland in 1968.
In 1965, the Cook Islands, in 1974, Niue, 1986, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands, and in 1994, Palau, became “associated states”, which gets them extra government services, and better defense and funding from Cascadia, along with allowing their nationals and citizens to visit Cascadia with no restrictions.
But, because their constitutions are too different from Cascadia, their governments have no voting rights to influence the Cascadian government decisions.

In the 1930’s, after Adolf Hitler kicked the central banks out of Germany and took power away from powerful Jewish businesspeople, the National Socialist German government asked the Cascadian government for support.

However, Cascadia’s constitution prohibited the government supporting human rights abusers, and Hitler tried to convince the Cascadians to support him simply for his opposition to the central banks on the basis that his government wasn’t evil compared to almost every other country in the world.
Because of the German government’s treatment of minorities and ideological brainwashing of the people, Cascadia never supported the German government at the time, seeing the authoritarian fascist National Socialist party as almost no better than the central banks or colonialist European governments.

When the European theater of World War 2 began, the Cascadian government hoped that Hitler will destroy the central banks, and when that happens, the axis powers and the Soviet Union will fight each other until they become so weak that Cascadia can destroy their governments and insert puppet governments.

However, when Cascadia was invaded by Canada (which later withdrew to support Great Britain) and the United States of America after false-flag bombings in the invading countries, Cascadia threatened to join the axis, but never followed through.

Right when the U.S. military made a serious push into Cascadia & break through the stalemate, it was December the 7th and Pearl Harbor was attacked, and besides, the Cascadians and even the majority of the American and Canadian public wanted to end the war.

This forced the Canadian and U.S. governments to sign the “border non-aggression treaty” with Cascadia, in which neither side is allowed to start violence and both sides must respect the border as a demilitarised zone, and may only send specific law enforcement agencies (the Federal Police for Cascadia, the Border Patrol for the United states, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for Canada) into this demilitarised zone, with the added on requirement that uniforms and vehicles be clearly marked (ie full color patches, no patches with subdued colors, and vehicles must have clear markings in contrasting colors).
It was originally proposed to allow no one into the DMZ, but because there already is too many people living near the border to evict, law enforcement is allowed into the DMZ as long as they do not cross national borders.

A “peace house” was built on the borders of Alberta and West Montana in Cascadia, Saskatchewan in Canada and Montana of the U.S.A. (the real-life location can be seen at about https://www.google.com/maps/@48.99962,-110.0044919,31m/data=!3m1!1e3). This is intended to be a symbol of peace, tolerance, forgiveness and harmony, between the countries, and where people can technically cross borders with no trouble or worries.

Zootopia's Origins: my version

WORK IN PROGRESS.

NOT associated with, or in reference to, the story by thefirstfleet.

It all started in the 1900’s, when, in England, a group of mad scientists somewhere around Willingdon (right next to Animal Farm) got into the study of the similarities of differences between humans and animals. In this, they messed with animal genes, and made the animals they worked on anthropomorphic, and essentially made human brains (with sizes varying with species, but with virtually the same capabilities) grow in anthropomorphic animal bodies.

Sometime in the late 1930’s, the animals break out of their cells, ejected the scientists, and started to create a village in the area around an old castle. They created simple clothes that was somewhat similar to that shown in the 1973 Robin Hood animated movie. They had little in way of technology, so they lived an almost medieval looking lifestyle (most of the 1973 animated film “Robin Hood” was accurate).

After this, King Richard’s so-called “crusades” happened, which were actually skirmishes with civilians who were attacking the kingdom. Contrary to popular belief, the animals had a number of firearms (mostly shotguns, being the most common type in civilian hands) captured from humans, and even had a little knowledge on firearms, but, aside from the ones led by King Richard, had little live ammunition that can be fired through the firearms that the animals possessed.

The Animal Kingdom and Animal Farm both did have a defensive alliance for several years, but had many cultural differences as that the Animal Kingdom had a more human-like culture while human culture was officially repressed in Animal Farm, the Animal Kingdom had a wild animal majority while Animal Farm was populated virtually completely by domesticated animals, the Animal Kingdom didn’t have a government as hard as animal farm, and so on and so forth.

Animal Farm was overrun and destroyed by British militias in 1940, but the story of it lives on as documented by George Orwell’s book “Animal Farm”, which in this timeline was developed and published after years of research after the end of World War 2.
The events of the 1973 animated movie “Robin Hood” take place just a few months before the Animal Kingdom was invaded by civilian militias and British military and law enforcement. When that happened, a platoon of 30 stealth commandos from Cascadia helped the animals. They would’ve been overrun, but the German military had already launched Operation Sea Lion and invading the mainland, so the British took their priorities off of invading Animal Kingdom to defend their coast against the invading axis military. The animals sneak to a ship, which sailed to friendly Ireland. On the way to Ireland on the ship, Maid Marian gives birth to her and Robin Hood’s 6 kits.

After stopping on Ireland, the animals took another ship to Cascadia. Soon after the animals land in Cascadia, 2 false flag attacks happen: a bombing in Canada, and, at the exact same time, another bombing in the Corporate States of America. Both of the attacks were blamed on Cascadia, and the U.S. and Canada invaded. This forced Cascadia to both end its war with Japan in the Pacific and draw troops out of Ireland to bring back troops to protect the mainland. Canada withdrawals in 1941 to help Great Britain fend off against the German military, and the U.S. ended the war with Cascadia after the Pearl Harbor attacks and the public finding out that Cascadia did not commit the bombings.

Though both the Canadian and U.S. militaries both caused much damage to Cascadia, and Cascadians have also done damage of their own (especially with their “scorched earth” campaign during their retreat), which left the people still on Cascadia to clean up the mess that they partially caused.

Soon after Japan surrendered, ending World War 2, the animals settle South Cascadia Island, which is halfway between south America and New Zealand, and call it “Zootopia”, with it becoming an independent nation and protectorate of Cascadia in 1946.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Zootopia, nor the 1973 film Robin Hood, or any of their characters. They all belong to Disney. I also do NOT own Animal Farm. It belongs to Eric Arthur Blair.

Announcement & explanation of the Zootopia origins & annexation story & collaborative writing, & why I'm doing it

Not associated with, or in reference to, the story by thefirstfleet.

After watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nMmC3YvR6M , I’ve picked up an interest in Zootopia fandom, the Disney style of animal anthropomorphism, & after reading https://jekkal.deviantart.com/journal/The-REAL-Difference-between-Anthro-and-Furry-214150891, I considered myself to be a low-level furry.

When I was looking into Zootopia, I found out about the early scripts involving “tame collars”. Then I started looking at pictures & fanfictions related to the dystopian version of the story with the collars, & then, I got the inspiration for the more recent versions of the 2 stories I’ve came up with.
That inspiration came from a now deleted story, in which it’s mentioned that Hillary Clinton became president & led the U.S. into economic failure, & when Donald Trump became president, he annexed Zootopia as a state to fight Mexico, & while he was at it, forced predators in Zootopia to wear shock collars.

Since that story was deleted, I won’t talk about it further or say what its name is or who made it.

But I will say that it inspired me to create my own story in which the U.S. annexes Zootopia, called "Zootopia's annexation" with 2 basic versions:

The 1st version is that Donald Trump & Mike Pence beat Ron Paul & either Ryan Dawson or Michael Rivero (more likely the latter).

On January the 20th, 2017, Trump sends Navy SEALS to Zootropolis, and they pull off coup d'etat and barely stop Zootopia’s ICBM’s from getting deployed against NATO (especially the U.S.), Israel, and Saudi Arabia. Even though Zootopia becomes property of the United States government, president Trump signs a treaty with Zootopia and declares it to be a “special territory”, which allows them to keep many of their old laws (especially their weapon laws) and didn’t require that residents living in the territory pay as much income taxes as U.S. states, but has absolutely no voting rights.

In the 2nd version, Hillary Clinton with Joe Lieberman, John McCain with either Lindsey Graham or Mike Huckabee, & Ron Paul with Michael Rivero run for president. Despite media support for McCain and Graham/Huckabee, Paul & Rivero gets most of the real votes, but Clinton & Lieberman steal them when they cheat via vote rigging.

On January the 20th, 2017, Clinton sends Navy SEALS to Zootropolis, & they pull off a coup d'etat to take over Zootropolis city.
Zootropolis ends up becoming a commonwealth like Puerto Rico, and the city is cut off from the rest of the island.
This story is somewhat more realistic in regards to the legal status of land that is newly aquired by the U.S., but is more dystopian with the formation of Tame Collar Enforcement, a brutal paramilitary law enforcement agency that’s officially stated purpose is to “control dangerous predators” but in reality is the secret police of the Clinton administration.

In both versions of the story, in 2020, Ron Paul comes in and straightens everything out, sort-of-speak.

I wanted to make stories that talk about controversial issues, such as peace & war, the right to keep and bear arms & armor, along with hate & collectivism, & I’d also like to show how to treat drug abuse in better ways than incarceration, & touch upon how economic freedom is good (with the economic freedom seen in the Nations Against the New World Order & Libertopia State) all from a libertarian point of view, along with mocking religion (especially Zionist Judaism, Wahabi Islam & Evangelical Christianity).

Along with this, I do plan on having a sympathetic depiction of peace officer, & while the story is intended to be anti-war, instead of depicting military forces as sources of evil, they are more like the tools of evil people.

I personally did not take World revolution & war stories very seriously, & only did it on Pinterest (I plan to not make any releases outside of Pinterest). But, now I’m thinking Zootopia’s annexation as an alternate timeline, & while I am definitely UNABLE to make a profit off of it due to me ripping off of other’s creations being counted under copyright law (and understandably, considering how it isn’t my creation), at least it would be more viable with an already large Zootopia & furry fanbase that this story can be marketed to.

I’m well aware that this will be perceived as weird (even I think that), & the quality of this won’t be nearly like Shakespeare's most refined works, but then again, Loony Toons & Who Framed Roger Rabbit were fairly successful when featuring cartoon characters, so maybe I’d have a shot with anthropomorphised animals that were the result of a scientific experiment.

Not to mention how in history, cartoons have been used for propaganda before. So how different would that be from me making a story involving anthropomorphised animals?

I find this extremely ironic, as that ABC, a mainstream media outlet, is owned by the Walt Disney Company, which had Robert W. Matschullat as a member of their board of directors, who “served as head of worldwide investment banking for Morgan Stanley & Co” (https://www.thecloroxcompany.com/who-we-are/corporate-governance/board-of-directors/robert-w-matschullat/), at which Robert Walmsley was a senior director at, who was a non-executive director at General Dynamics, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Walmsley#Corporate_roles), which is a part of the military industrial complex, of which I’m very much against their influence of the media and, especially, government.

Even if I do get negative ratings, I might recruit people to join a movement that I want. For example, if I can get one person who’s not seriously political to join the antiwar movement, then that’s a small victory.
If I can get someone to become a true libertarian, that would be an even bigger victory.
Or, perhaps the best example, today, someone might get interested in the firearms mentioned in the story (ie a Steyr AUG or a Glock) and buy the airsoft replica of it. Tomorrow, they might get the real thing (of course, depending on what’s available to them and how hard that they’re willing to try to get it), & get into shooting, which can possibly also help also lead them to self-defense, prepping/survivalism, & so on and so forth.

Hopefully you’ll get the idea. Ryan Dawson has talked about people using their talents to help spread messages, & a modern day example would be TUT/The Undisputed Truth, whose real name is Robbie Stevenson, does rap songs related to the truth, peace, & Palestine supporting movements.
And there are countless times in history in which entertainment media was used to promote agendas or simply talk about issues (with John Lennon singing about peace being one unconcealed example).

This is why I will be making so many references to real-life things; to promote the truth.

I’m not calling my storytelling a talent, but rather, a hobby that I do.

Trivia post: What Happened to Barriss Offee after The Clone Wars & Jedi temple bombing (my theory)?

Regular visitors of this blog might've remembered my old post, A few parallels between Star Wars & the New World Order, how Barriss stayed in the Jedi order, & more. For some time, I've been thinking about making a renamed repost about my theory surrounding what happened Barriss Offee after confessing to the Jedi temple bombings, but haven't got around to doing so until I seen the video What Happened to Barriss Offee after The Clone Wars? (Theory), hoping that the post's title could draw some extra views from search engines indexing this page.

I'm sure that many of you remember seeing what happened to Barriss in The Clone Wars Season 5 finale. Though as you can read on http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Barriss_Offee/Legends#Temple_bombing, not much is known what happened to Barriss after she was caught by Anakin and confessed to the Jedi temple bombing. My theory is that, after the events depicted in the video above, Barriss had a trial of her own, and thanks to pleading guilty and an outstanding legal team, got her sentence reduced to a long time behind bars.

But, as the war dragged on, the Jedi were desperate for more active warriors, and gave those facing punishment an extra chance. Perhaps Barriss had behaved perfectly while in prison, and, after a lengthy approval process, including permission from a jude, counseling, interviews, interviews of prison employees about her, and so on and so forth, while on parole, was allowed to rejoin the Jedi and be able to possess 1 operational weapon when on missions. However, Barriss wasn't allowed to possess any weapons when off duty, and must agree to being supervised at all times. The permits allowing her to be out of prison may be revoked at any time with or without specific reason, and will be revoked he she was ever caught misbehaving again.

Remember, since all of this happened on 20 BBY, and Order 66 happened just the year after, we would have to assume that Barriss was in prison for only a few months at the most, so her behavior must've acted outstandingly good and 110% squeaky sterile to not only get out early, but also, go into battle with a lethal weapon.

This is somewhat relatable to real-life. In many countries, military, law enforcement, and security personnel are often restricted from bringing weapons home, of course, varying from country-to-country. This is somewhat relatable to Barriss, after being convicted of committing a serious crime, being restricted from possessing weapons.

A more closely relatable situation is seen in the United States in real life when it comes to convicted felons and firearms. In the U.S., under federal law, it is prohibited for a felon to buy a firearm (not including airguns or even antiques).
However, some states do have a process for a felon to be legally allowed to purchase firearms again (from what I've read, believe it or not, this is allowed under state's rights), but it is quite lengthy from what I've heard (in Texas, for instance, the process takes like 5 years. Lookup "Texas Penal Code 46.04" for details). I also recommend watching Gun Gripes Episode 70: Convicted Felons and Guns for details, though the video only talks about Georgia (which is, by the way, my home state).

I've seen people who believe that the Seventh Sister may be Barriss Offee, and while she probably isn't, if she is, she may be Barriss with facial surgery, tattoos removed and changed voice. And I've seen someone make another claim, which can be read here: https://www.reddit.com/r/FanTheories/comments/44olur/how_did_barriss_offee_stay_in_the_jedi_order/.

Bonus: Barriss Offee and Ahsoka Tano both had an honorary mention in my post, Open message to muslims & non-muslims; rant on hijab. And are face coverings (ie niqab) appropriate/good?, to show that even though 2 individuals may dress almost oppositely (see picture below to give you an idea), that isn't a huge factor as to their character, values, or what they do in life. Here's a segment from that post:

"As far as friendship goes between individuals, I don't believe that clothing style really matters, but rather, the individual's values, belifs, and wishes. I assure you that friendships like the one between Ahsoka Tano (who wasn't exactly the most covered up character) and Barriss Offee (who dressed on the modest side) (who were, for icing on the cake, different but still fully

 (This came from https://raikoh-illust.deviantart.com/art/I-m-so-sorry-Ahsoka-193760932.)"

Trivia post: idea for new Star Wars TROOPS episode, why stormtroopers miss so much, plus Ikrit the "cat" Jedi & more

I'm sure that many of you already watched the "TROOPS" parody of the real-life TV show "COPS". While looking in the comments of a video called "Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Anakin chases Ahsoka Tano in tunnels [1080p]", I came across this one, which inspired me to think about a TROOPS episode for Coruscant-based shock troopers for the events depicted in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Season 5, Episode 18: To Catch a Jedi".

In this case, I would like to see the shock troopers doing what they do, and have the event of chasing Ahsoka Tano be depicted from the point of view of the troopers plus the fugitive's master himself (Anakin Skywalker). After their brief fight with Ahsoka and Asajj (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXvi3i25HZg), they get a quick breifing in the gunship, (and for comedic relief/comic relif,) are shown some other pictures of Ahsoka to get her appearance better set in their minds, and it just happens that those pictures not only include the season 1, 2 and 3 1/2 Ahsoka (yes, I admit, I liked the older appearance better, not that I have any problems with the newer appearance,), but also, some pictures that, let's just say, Anakin or Ahsoka wouldn't be particularly enthusiastic about the entire universe seeing those (a reference to what happened in Meet the Spy).

By the way, if I was in either Ahsoka's or Asajj's place, I would've picked up at least 1 blaster to both give me a ranged and less-than-lethal (with "stun" setting) option.
I'm also surprised that none of the troopers managed to shoot either Ahsoka or Asajj, especially with their fingers on the trigger the whole time (which is terribly unprofessional, irresponsible and outright dangerous, and is also demonstrated in many movies, tv shows, videogames, etc). The only logical reason that I can come up with is that the troopers didn't want to shoot any of their teammates in such close range and that chaotic of a situation. Even though they probably wouldn't die (assuming that their blasters are set to "stun" and none of their assailants attempt for do further harm to any of the troopers), it is not good to have a teammate knocked out of action.

I have more criques like the one above in "A few parallels between Star Wars & the New World Order, how Barriss stayed in the Jedi order, & more", and "Trivia post: Star Wars: is Anakin Skywalker good or evil, Anakin's Clones & Rise of the droids & how Shaak Ti could've defeated Grievous".

Why do stormtroopers miss so much?

I'm sure that most, if not all, of you know the Stormtrooper's reputation for being poor shots. There are many theories on why this happens, but I believe that the top 4 causes are armor design, training, morale and motivation.

As said on Stormtroopers vs Clone Troopers (Phase 1) and How Powerful Was The Galactic Empire?, stormtrooper training was sometimes rushed for human recruits, and while it wasn't as intense as clone troopers, the harshness of the training and being motivated with fear in turn undermined the morale of stormtroopers, and made them surprisingly incompetent when dealing with organized enemies such as the rebel alliance. When it comes to armor design, as shown on Why stormtroopers miss, it is a combination of both the helmet and body armor.

When it comes to the helmet, the wearer's field of view is extremely limited. I personally know a cop who went through simunitions (look it up if you're curious) training, and he had to wear a big helmet that only lets the wearer see straight forward with little to no peripheral vision. When it comes to the body armor, it is hard to properly shoulder a long gun (this may be partially corrected with an adjustable stock, but I am not sure if it can be fully corrected unless the stock was of the right length and had a rubber buttplate to reduce slipping), and thus, hard to properly aim.

Bonus.

My comment on "Who is Ikrit (The Cat Jedi)?".
No offense to Ikrit, his creators or fans, but I think that he looks like a fairy-tail character, not that I have any problem with him.

By the way, believe it or not, his species, the Kushiban, are lagomorphs, making them more related to rabbits or hares than to felines, such as cats.

What I would've done if I was an average Galactic Empire citizen.
I probably would've kept it with me, and possibly carry it if I can (if I can't or decide not to, I would keep it in storage for safekeeping). If possible, I would arrange for it to be donated to a rebel (a force-sensitive if possible) that can use it after I die (hopefully it could be recovered). Since it is a prohibited weapon that can be possessed under very narrow circumstances (ie working for the Imperial government), I would probably just as careful, if not, more careful than possessing a weapon in a country where the weapon is prohibited (ie operational machine guns in many developed and some developing countries).

Ideas for Utopia Federation action figure sets for "My Own Creation" modeling and stop-motion movie making.

Since I have yet to see good Hasbro-pattern action figures to represent the Utopia Federation (U.F.) forces, so I have ideas for substitutes and reasoning behind those ideas, especially since, as far as I know, Terminator action figures may not be the right scape compared to Hasbro pattern ones.

My idea for the substitute base model U.F. humanoid trooper would be an Old Republic Trooper repainted and re accessorized (let's pretend that their armor is a less-expensive variation of Clone Commando armor), with their main weapons being E-11 (standard issue) and DC-15 (designated marksmen/sniper) rifle copies, with heavy blaster pistols (mainly DL-44 variants) being issued as sidearms, rocket launchers and Z-6 rotary blasters for fire support and heavy fighting. Their primary vehicles would the the AT-AT, AT-TE, LAAT/i, STAP-1, and various speeder bikes.

For mechanical (droid) forces, they are pretty much copy-cats from the separatists; commando droids, magnaguards, Q-series droidekas, Homing spider droids, Dwarf spider droids, Crab droids, Hailfire droids, T-series tactical droids, B2-HAR super battle droids (R stands for "rocket", as that, via back mounted rockets, can fly like the Jump Droid and B2-RP Rocket droid) and sniper droidekas (this last one would be custom made). The main non-separatist droid would be the IG-82 sentinel/assassin droid.

The main infantry droids in use would be Magnaguards, B2-HAR, and to a shorter extent, IG-82's and Commando droids were used as regular infantry droids (Magnaguards were used for being good and robust warriors. B2-HAR's were used for their ability to both fly and launch homing torpedo's. IG-82's and Commando droids were more agile. IG-82's can see around them, while Commando droids can lead well.).

The main pilot droids were IG-82's, Commando droids and T-series tactical droids.
Sniper droidekas were mainly deployed as, of course, snipers, and defensive and support droids. Q-series droidekas were also used for both defense and support.

All others, being Crab, Hailfire, Homing spider and Dwarf spider droids were used in other battle roles.

The explanation for these substitutes was that they were part of the military reserve force, and thus, didn't get as much premium equipment. The government and military also refused to fund research and development for more advanced droids for financial reasons, so the military had private companies contract copies of already existing technology, including droids.

Trivia post: Star Wars: is Anakin Skywalker good or evil, Anakin's Clones & Rise of the droids & how Shaak Ti could've defeated Grievous

To Star Wars fans: please read "A few parallels between Star Wars & the New World Order, how Barriss stayed in the Jedi order, & more".

Is Anakin Skywalker good or evil?

We all know that Anakin Skywalker had his moral-ethical ups and downs. We all all know that, in the last few minutes of his life (as Darth Vader), he was redeemed from the dark side of the force and brought back to the light side, which at least hints that he is a good person at heart (not that I believe that everyone is good at heart, but that everyone has the potential to be good or evil). Though I want to dig a little deeper.
As you can read on "Anakin Skywalker - Personality and traits", Anakin was described as "though lovable, he also was one to carry grudges and was vengeful, but he commonly held these two traits in check", and "Due to his sudden escalation from slave to being known as the "Chosen One" and the rising star of the Jedi Order, pride and arrogance set in. He grew cocky, self-appreciating, and he grew to hate being reprimanded or lectured".
In the same article, it was said that "Despite his actions, Vader apparently believed he was doing what was good for the galaxy" and "He expressed the belief that the Empire was the only way the galaxy could attain peace, justifying his actions and those of the Empire as necessary to accomplish this.", yet "He also appeared to have had a high sense of self-loathing as a result of his actions, so much so that he nearly committed suicide during his mission to Atoa."
To wrap this up, in my conclusion (not that anyone else is obligated or expected to accept), Anakin was a good person at heart, even though he is quite manipulable, emotional, and some can even say somewhat immature.
I also recommend reading this article; The Psychology of Darth Vader Revealed.

By the way, I'm willing to bet that, if Ahsoka was found "Guilty" of the Jedi temple hangar bombing, Anakin might've violently lashed out in rage, and 1 of several things can happen, all after killing and injuring many people and doing other types of damage. 1, free Ahsoka and go into hiding. 2, fail to free Ahsoka and go into hiding. Or 3, go on a kill until killed killing spree, in which he kills and injures as many others and causes as much damage as he could to show his anger about what happened to Ahsoka. I thought of these becuase of his strong loyalty and how easy it is to anger him.

Also, if Anakin got a temper tantrum/hissy fit after Ahsoka declined to the Jedi council's invitation back into the Jedi order, it may look something like you see after 3:00 below when Benson from Regular Show tore up his apartment.

Now, here comes some fanon! Please bear with me and don't get butthurt over this.

Anakin's clones and rise of the droids.

I'm willing to bet that some of you might have read about the Kamino uprising (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kamino_uprising) and force-sensititve clones (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cuis_clone) before. Now, I have my own idea for force sensitive clones, and the basis for a story about them.

This all started just after the end of the Clone Wars in the "Utopia federation" (which we'll abbreviate as the "U.F."), a group of outer-rim planets united under a single government and constitution. They all are very similar in that they are clean, paradise-like in a way similar to Naboo, have an almost limitless supply of resources, and a melting-pot culture, yet interestingly enough, have been largely ignored by major governments since the fall of the Old Republic.

Just after the clone wars, the U.F. decided to take a risk and take action against the Empire, believing that not only was it the right thing to do in the first place, but also, believed that the Empire's government and/or military would decide to attack it sooner or later anyway, justifying the use of force against the Empire.

First, the U.F. decided to not only create variants of the B-3 ultra battle droid, Droideka Mark 2, Super battle droid rocket trooper, Magnuaguard, Trade Federation F Series Battle Droid and various other droids and various vehicles, but also, to create the G-1 droid ("G" stood for "Guardian"), which were similar to the T-900 Terminator with a head similar to the T-888 Terminator, with the G-2 being like the T-1002 and T-XA Terminators combined, with the G-3 being the same as the T-X Terminator

However, the U.F. wasn't satisfied by an army mainly made up of its own citizenry and droids; they also wanted an army of force sensitives. Hence, the force-sensitive-clones project.
After all the DNA was gathered (either through donation or from captured DNA samples) and quick growth of the clone prototypes (who, after becoming grown enough, was given a pill to stop their aging), the main choices were;
Ki-Adi-Mundi combined with an unnamed Mirialan commando, who was picked for the former's brainpower and latter's flexibility,
Shaak Ti with a trace of Luminara Unduli, picked for an overall outstanding performance as a warrior plus the advantage of having the Togruta's unique montrals, which gave them a uniquely good awareness of what's going on around them with the flexibility of Mirialans, and
Anakin Skywalker, who was picked becuase of his high midi-chlorian count.

It was proposed to take the DNA of Mace Windu and clone him, since not only was he outstanding as a warrior, but also, was less emotional and manipulable than Anakin. However, Mace ended up not being cloned becuase Anakin's DNA was modified to be less emotional and manipulable than Anakin, and was also made to be more careful (especially when dealing with the dark side of the force). There were also plans to combine the DNA of Bossk and bounty hunter Bric to get the strength of the former with the intelligence of the latter, but it was canceled, mainly becuase of the extra work involved, and for icing on the cake, it was thought to be even weirder and wackier than organic species or genetically engineered clones in the galaxy.

All clones' DNA were modified to the DNA so that they would have increased lung capacity, improved stamina, a internal brain "switch" was added to block too many pain signals from coming to the brain, and thus, preventing impairment by pain, be well disciplined, and above all, strongly loyal to the U.F., and so on and so forth. Plus, they were also programmed with a fiery hatred of Emperor Palpatine and people like him (particulary those who are considered immoral/unethical).
Much of their weapons and equipment, particulary their armor (which was based off of Katarn-class clone commando armor) were similar to those worn by clone commando's. Instead of blasters, they carried Phaser type-3's for main rifles and Type 2 phasers as sidearms. The main lightsabers they wielded were based off of Asajj Ventress', or were similar to Ezra Bridger with the addition of being able to be attacked to make a saberstaff and being more refined, or double-bladed spinning lightsaber (like what inquisitors use)).

The color of their blaster bolts may be purple, which would penetrate and explode, and can also easily fry electronics, made by tip-top quality of tibanna gas that got ultra-refined and combined with an extremely high concentration of plasma.

When the prototypes were cloned and grown old enough to undergo trials, the production of Shaak Ti clones stopped becuase of inadequate protection of the montrals by a helmet design that disallowed them to function properly, along with high-sensitivity making the possessor vulnerable to objects hitting them. The latter problem was partially fixed when the "pain switch" was added. However, able-bodied survivors were allowed to continue their service, which they all eagerly did.

The Ki-Adi-Mundi and Mirialan commando hybrid was more common. Despite looking weird as a result of their head's shape and thus, their helmet's shape having an enormous "bump" n top of it, they were more common.

But, the one cloned above all was Anakin Skywalker, who was seen as the most powerful and thus, the most favorable of the clones.

However, these clones didn't have their flaws. Primarily, they were not always mentally real stable, even though they had no memories unlike force sensitive clones from other programs. The main cause of this particular problem was that the midi-chlorians didn't like having clones artificially be given midi-chlorians, and thus, undermined the sanity of the clones. For icing on the cake, they were not the type of crazy that the real-life Black Sheep squadron were.

As a result, force-sensitives clones were not produced in as large numbers as originally planned as that it was too hard to control an army with large numbers of unstable troops, and a mixture of G-series droids and non-force-sensitive clone hybrids were used instead.

And, partially as a result of the massive use of powerful droids against the Empire and many oppressive governments, and the voice of the droid rights movement, droid restraining bolts were heavily restricted, memory wipes were regulated, guidelines were set up for making anti-personality programs for droids, and overall, droids got better protection.

How Shaak Ti could've defeated General Grievous in Star Wars: Clone Wars: chapter 25.
I find it rather amazing how Shaak Ti could hold her own against dozens of Magnaguards for at least a few minutes, yet she faced Grievous head-on without utilizing proper tactics. I'm not a Jedi nor am I trained in using a lightsaber or even a sword, but if I was in Shaak Ti's place, I would've cut off 3 of Grievous' arms and then cut off his head. After getting that out of the way, I would've either stay put and do what I can to secure the area and fight off intruders or try to get away to a safer location.

I'd also like to add instances where a simple, easy move could've stopped something and possibly change the course of the story. An example is seen in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 04 Episode 12 Slaves Of The Republic", where Ahsoka held a lightsaber close to the queen, and apparently did not pay enough attention to what her assailant was doing with their hands.

The situation that I'm talking about explains exactly why when, say, you're stopped by law enforcement, you are often told to put your hands where the officers dealing with you can see them, so you can't say, pull a weapon.

A similar situation is seen here. If I was in Ahsoka's place, I would've said to my assailant (in this case, the Queen) "Put your hands where I can see them. Don't do anything stupid". If my assailant reaches for something, if I don't have enough time to warn them or already warn them, I'll go ahead and cut their hand off, and the pain and shock should get me more compliance. After that, I would put my arm around the neck of the assailant with a lightsaber in front of it, and make my demands and do deals (in this case, being that me, my friends, and as many other people as possible are freed).
Fast forward to after the mission, I might get fussed at for the level of force that I use, kind've like what Jack Slater has to deal with with his boss, Lt. Dekker in the movie "Last Action Hero" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ8EnaGClRs Warning: strong language). I'll probably try to justify the use of force by saying something like "Do you want us to fail the mission, or any mission for that matter? We can't let the bad guys get away".

I feel like Ahsoka apparently doesn't always pay enough attention, becuase before she was zapped by the queen, she was zapped by Cad Bane. I wonder how detailed Jedi training is when it comes to doing practical things, such as watching what someone is doing with their hands.

Bonus: Ahsoka Tano and the wide audience of Star Wars.
I've came across this article, "Why Ahsoka Tano Is the Best Thing to Happen to Star Wars in 20 Years", which explains why Ahsoka was added into the Star Wars franchise.
I've seen a bunch of haters of "The Clone Wars" movie and I've seen a few who weren't great fans of Ahsoka.

In my opinion, The Clone Wars movie and following series were a bit underrated. Namely, it originally had quite a young target audience, as reinforced by the merchandising and "Young readers" books.
I remember that, when I was younger, the series changed quite a bit in season 3, in terms of character appearance, story plots, and maybe even animation as well. Fast foward to know, especially after watching Why does General Grievous suck in The Clone Wars?, I've found out that mostly teens and young adults watched the show. Thus, that's why the story lines got deeper and darker, with maybe an exception for episodes from "A Necessary Bond" to "A Test of Strength", where younglings (kids) were featured a lot.

In a nutshell, I think both the movie, and to an extent, the series, were rather underrated. Mostly adults, at least sometimes with quite high expectations, were rating a movie and series for a young target audience, which explains why the movie and series got such a poor rating. So, they might not have been properly rated... from a certain point of view.

Now, with Star Wars rebels now out for over a couple of years as of the time this article was released, strangely, I didn't see as harsh or heavy criticism, even though it obviously is targeted for even younger audiences than The Clone Wars (and the animation screams the 2012 animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles" series), and you'll probably be surprised at how many adults watch the series.

To wrap this up, I've seen a comment on the internet where someone said that, at first, they didn't watch The Clone Wars movie becuase they thought it was too cartoony. However, they saw it air on television, tried it, and liked it!

What are your thoughts of this? Any questions, concerns, or things I've missed? Please say so in the comments!

A few parallels between Star Wars & the New World Order, how Barriss stayed in the Jedi order, & more

Links to this post will be posted on Star Wars orientated Google+ communities and Reddit forums, and is mainly directed to Star Wars fans. As you read, please bear with me here and please click on the links provided. At least I don't expect Star Wars fans to be as up to speed as I am or razor-sharp on this topic, and thus, I can forgive ignorance.
There is a surprising amount of things that both Star Wars and the real life New World Order have in common. Here are a few of the things that I see.

1: Palpatine becoming more powerful during bad times is similar to how many dictators rose to power, and his getting emergency powers is similar to how the president of the Corporate United States of America using executive orders.

2: there is little talk about weapon or body armor laws in Star Wars, but there are some laws on blasters and body armor, much like real life gun control and body armor laws, as you can read on the Wookiepedia article Black market/Legends

In the case of the Empire era, the 3 categories of items were "F/Fee", "R/Restricted", and X/Illegal, much like the weapon laws in some countries.
A few examples would be Canada, which are "Non-restricted", "Restricted", and "Prohibited" (airguns that launch projectiles at a speed less than 500 fps and antique firearms aren't included), Argentina, which are "Civil use", "Civil conditional use", and "Prohibited use", United Kingdom, which are "Section 2", "Section 1", and "Section 5" (note: this is not entirely clean-cut. Go to https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdw-vBe9RRO3mr1VDR8hZnf2rCrc7Wt5E for more details), and so on and so forth.
Plus the European Union (lookup the "European Firearms Directive" for details), Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Austria (though they actually have laxer firearm laws than much of the European Union), have like 4 or 5 classes of weapons, and the top 3 (A, B, and C) do have regulations on them (though some, like "D", or in the case of Austria, "Less-effective weapons", are hardly regulated at all. I'm not so sure if the powers that be are afraid of civilians with things such as 10 gauge double-barrel percussion shotguns, Sharps rifles, a slew of mismatched antique firearms, airguns and so on and so forth because of the low threat level.). There are also a few countries which do regulate body armor.

3: the Empire adopting a policy favoring human culture is similar to the implementation of a Jewish-supremacist policy in real life. As a disclaimer, I am NOT one of those types who blame the entire Jewish people (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkYQwSCzfVRHFrk6NdJzTb-Hmus5_TDEk), nor am I a race nationalist or anything in that matter, it is just the truth, just like in genocides such as the Native-American genocide or the 1st Holocaust (the 2nd one happened to the German people. See https://www.youtube.com/user/Rys2sense/search?query=HellStormhttp://justice4germans.com/about/) where victims of an attack were forced to doing the things their opperssor's way.

I, however, can understand why someone would make that assumption. Unfortunately, some people who talk about this type of stuff are race nationalists and I've seen very few people who, say, wants to secure the future of Caucasians and aren't white nationalists (I want to secure the future for all).

4: the Empire's use of fear is similar to reason #3 in an article called "5 Reasons Globalism Will Fail", coercion and violence might not be sustainable in the long run, especially when people are gaining courage to fight back. I'm willing to bet that the powers that be created or at least are looking into more effective and direct mind control techniques, though I'm not so sure if they're quite ready to have enough control the minds of the world's population to keep safe (do your own research).

5: this is actually related to 3, but, the case of people wanting peace, order, and safety can be seen with modern-day events such as terror attacks where governments use them to their own advantage to pass legislation to increase their own power and do so with less resistance. Just look at the laws passed after events such as 9/11, 2015 Paris attacks, and the attempts to pass laws after the mass shootings of 2012 and afterwards.

6: corporations were given too much freedom. I am still pretty much a capitalist, but I am strongly against corporatism. I recommend watching "Corbett Report with Ryan Dawson Separation of Business and State" and reading the book that it talks about.

7: the Republic going into serious debt and many people getting into economic and financial trouble is similar to how big international financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and World Bank is ripping off places like Africa to keep them poor (watch Neocolonialism in Africa) and Europe getting into financial trouble in the late 2000's and early 2010's (watch Euro Crisis is Just Beginning, Global Collapse is Coming), the world financial trouble in 2008, and the debt taken on by countries around the world to other countries and financial institutions.

8: Palpatine blaming all the Jedi for problems in the Galaxy can be seen as similar to numerous times in history where we see collective punishment has been used, and, especially in the long run, not work.

9: last, but not least, both sides of the conflict are controlled by the same people, as can be seen in politics (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkYQwSCzfVRFz6YKK4XwVJzghptBGjJB-) and fianance (I suggest looking into how big banks do deals with both sides of a war).

Not to mention how much companies profited off of the war in a similar matter to the military-industrial complex profiting off of wars over the past few decades.

Interestingly enough, as explained on https://www.youtube.com/user/LearnLiberty/search?query=Star+Wars and http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Palpatine#Political.2C_historical.2C_and_mythological_allegory, Star Wars had many real-life inspirations.

I also recommend watching "5 Ways Star Wars is Surprisingly Like China".

How did Barriss Offee stay in the Jedi order?

I'm sure that many of you remember seeing this. Though as you can read on http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Barriss_Offee/Legends#Temple_bombing, it isn't known what happened to Barriss after she was caught by Anakin and confessed to the Jedi temple bombing.

I also recommend watching Gun Gripes Episode 70: Convicted Felons and Guns for details.

Bonus:
I agree that the Jedi do not intend to be evil. However, their way of doing things may be questionable at times. When it comes to Jedi being military generals, carrying lethal weapons (with no less-than-lethal setting, even though non-lethal training lightsabers can be adjusted to lethal) and have starfighters (which is the equivalent to having modern military fighter jets), while it may seem ironic, I kind've understand why they do it.

When it comes to being generals, perhaps they want to stop violence and chaos as soon as they could.

When it comes to being armed, remember that the Jedi were not only peace keepers, but also has, for some time, acted as law enforcement. When someone, like a law enforcement agent, security agent, most conceal carriers, or other moral, ethical, rational and sober minded individuals carry weapons, they often do so for the defense of themselves and, often, others. They may be reluctant to use the weapon, but it is either they stop a threat or the threat will keep harming innocents.

Speaking of weapons, it is interesting that, while members of the Jedi own and carry a lethal weapon (almost always a lightsaber), they never seem to own, carry or use less-than lethal weapons, such as stun batons, tasers, or irritant/inflammatory sprays (I suggest watching "Pepper Spray vs. Mace - Important Differences" to know what I'm talking about).
To put this into real-life perspective, being only armed with, say, a firearm would mean that, if you had to defend yourself or someone else, unless you can grab something else, you have little choice but to draw the firearm and shoot someone. This may not seem bad to those who are apathetic or don't engage in deep or particularly detailed thinking, but not all situations would morally or ethically justify lethal force.
I know that it may not be easy to come up with a less-than-lethal irritant/inflammatory spray that would always be effective and reasonably safe, considering how many species there are in the galaxy. But the Jedi don't use tasers. I guess that using a weapon other than a lightsaber breaks Jedi tradition, and that carrying other weapons aren't fancy enough becuase they look too utilitarian. But, if the Jedi want to save lives, wouldn't they carry tools that allow them more options than lethal force or what the force can provide alone?

And lastly, I do see why the Jedi forbid members from having relationships, as explained in the video. What is mentioned in the bus situation is actually a real life ethics theory, often called the "Trolley problem", which has a few variations. I've came up with actual examples that are applicable in the Star Wars universe.

While looking for kidnapping victims, Anakin is checking a switch station, when a train is barreling down the tracks, and cannot stop in time. There are only 2 tracks that it could be diverted to: one has multiple individuals tied to it, and the other has Anakin's true love, Padme, tied to it. By Jedi rules, since the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, Anakin should direct the train onto the track Padme is on and hit her. However, while powerful, Anakin is a rather emotional individual, and might not make the right decision (exactly why the Jedi aren't supposed to have relationships).

Another situation can be seen in which everything is the same, except Ahsoka is in Padme's place. Anakin may let the train hit the multiple tied kidnapping victims, and try to justify it by reasoning that by saving Ahsoka, she may save more lives in the long term and help bring the greater good. But, if you were an individual tied to the tracks, or loved 1 or more of them, how would you start to feel about that?

Now, some can say that the Jedi should have "May-issue" exemptions to allow emotionally mature members to have relationships. But, how are you going to deal with the less-mature members who get mad becuase they couldn't get the permit?

Though it would've been a good idea to at least teach members of the Jedi order how to deal with emotional attachment, there may be at east someone who is still not mature enough to deal with it.
(This last idea was taken from "Star Wars Lore Episode XIX - Why Jedi can't marry".)

Another bonus: my short critique of Star Wars - All Lightsaber Duels.

As you can see with the fight between Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-one Kenobi vs Darth Maul, as you can see starting at 3:00, what Qui-Gon probably should've done was to lure Maul into the hallway if possible, and at the last second, jump out while the shield security system is closing down, trapping Maul, and giving time for Obi-one to come and fight Maul together. Or, if Maul is too smart and doesn't take the bait, Qui-Gon should've at least kept his distance from Maul until Obi-one can join the fight.
If I was any of the guys stuck while the shield security system was on, I might've started to cut away at the generators to shut them down. Then again I may not do this becuase I am not entirely sure with what I am dealing with (it may detonate when I destroy them).
Also, if Maul was smart, he would've controlled all the lightsabers by putting them him his waistband or, if not possible, throwing all of them away so his surviving opponent (Obi-one) couldn't use it.

These types of problems may be seen in real-life. For example, if Law Enforcement Officers were going after a suspect, if the suspect is or is believed to be particularly dangerous, sometimes, they would wait until more officers and/or better trained and equipped (ie SWAT officers) can arrive on scene. One example is the North Hollywood shootout, where well over a dozen LAPD officers couldn't tackle 2 suspects wearing body armor that stopped 9x19mm handgun rounds and 00 buckshot pellets and wielded automatic rifles with high-capacity magazines. They ended up waiting for SWAT to finish off the gunmen.
Also, Maul failed to gain control of a weapon at the scene, and Obi-one ended up using it on Maul.

Essentially, in this situation, always stay with your buddy, and keep control on whatever weapons at the scene you can.

Note: major tangent starts here.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Real-life situational equivalents.
If Darth Maul was a cop, security agent, bounty hunter, or perhaps an infantryman, he would've shot Quick-Gon, leaving him to die, and while dealing with Obi-one, forgets that there is a firearm within Obi-one's reach. Obi-one finds an opportunity to grab the weapon, and shoot Maul, and does so, disabling and soon, killing him.

Now, if we reverse the roles, let's say that Qui-Gon and Obi-one were cops in New Zealand, and Maul was the suspect (I choose New Zealand becuase of the way their law enforcement store weapons, You'll see why it is so important in the story):
One day while on patrol, Sergeant Qui-Gon and his partner, Officer Obi-one, both in different vehicles, encounter a suspect known as "Maul". A short chase ensues, and all of the vehicles end up in a field. Having no time to move his car, and wanting to fight, Maul jumps out of his vehicle with a light machine gun, and fires on Qui-Gon and Obi-one. Maul then runs into a construction site, and Qui-Gon and Obi-one go after him with Glock pistols. No one has yet seriously injured anyone else, but that was to change. Qui-Gon goes to his car to get some supplies, and Maul mows him down, and throws am incendiary grenade into the trunk of Qui-Gon's car to prevent Obi-one from getting supplies from it, and runs back into the construction site to find cover and concealment. But, he forgets to destroy the supplies in Obi-one's car trunk, and Obi-one goes to his car's trunk, opens it up, grabs a rifle, chambers a round, and goes after Maul. Soon, he sees an opportunity to kill Maul, and gives him 2 well aimed double-taps, killing him. Then Obi-one goes back to Qui-Gon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tangent ends here

As you can see on 34:46, if Kenobi had a spare lightsaber, he could've easily stabbed Anakin and get the fight over with.
