Armed Security Service/ASS:
The Armed Security Service is not really a single company, but rather, a conglomerate under joint ownership by Israeli, Saudi Arabia, & Chinese companies & a handful of businesspeople from aforementioned countries, in that exact order.
It started a Pinkerton-esque private investigation & guard service based in the state of New Israel. But, it has since expanded from a law enforcement force that enforces nanny state rules just to keep the private prisons at 100%+ capacity into the armed wing of the police state & a gendarmerie heavily armed enough to crush insurgencies like a boot crushes an egg.
It’s basically the State’s de-facto state-level law enforcement agency, & corners the Private Security market within the state. The Armed Security Service is not really a single company, but rather, a conglomerate under joint ownership by Israeli, Saudi Arabian, & Chinese companies & a handful of businesspeople from aforementioned countries, in that exact order as a thinly-veiled way to funnel money to the companies & people that it owns. It personnel also uses much of its smaller equipment, such as small-arms & outfits, along with commissary items, from said countries.

The Fast Action Response Team is their equivalent of a SWAT team, with the following functions, in order from top priority to lowest priority:
. Functioning as the Praetoran Guard for the government & corporate ruling class (State Government officials, high ranking members of companies that get Government officials to do their bidding including lobbyists, etc).
. Keeping the rest of the Armed Security Service in-line.
. Serving warrants related to weapons, particularly confiscation.
. Arresting people who violate state tax laws.
. Hunting down truant K-12 students & their parents/guardians.
Enlisted Guards are NEVER allowed into the Fast Action Response Team; only Commissioned Officers & Warrant Officers are allowed in.
Because of the high prices for Officer’s Commissions, & the heavy nepotism involved in selling Officer’s Commissions which requires connections to high ranking members of the Armed Security Service, it’s common for an Enlisted Guard to stay as an Enlisted Guard & work harder than a workaholic for several years, doing things such as constantly volunteering for unpaid “overtime” every single day/night with no breaks & taking no days off or holidays off to prove their loyalty to the leadership of the Armed Security Service so they can enter training to become a Warrant Officer, which is an instant ticket from being barely above poverty or bottom working class to the upper middle class because the pay is high enough to thrive with a 99.99% income tax rate. Most Warrant Officers are members of the Fast Action Response Team, who undergo brutal, torturous training at least as hard as Russian Spetsnaz or North Korean Special Forces to pass.

In the State of New Israel, Private Security Guards (PSG's) who are not part of the Armed Security Service or under the command of the State Government have no law enforcement power. They may have the power to do a citizen's arrest, at best, but that's about it. Unless a situation gets particularly violent, they must call law enforcement.
Their uniform restrictions are as follows:
. Cannot be predominantly in the colors brown, green, or blue.
. The outermost top garment cannot be black. Black jackets, however, are tolerated.
. The outermost top garment must have the guard's name (minimum last name) displayed on the one breast in contrasting colors & in large enough lettering, while the other breast must have a patch, or, alternatively, a badge.
. Patches are to be rectangular in shape, and be 3 by 4 inches in size, & must be on both sleeves. Badges must be a minimum 2 ½ inches by 3 inches in size, while headgear badges must be minimum 2 ½ inches by 2 ½ inches in size. Badges are to be non-metallic. Patches & badges, at a minimum, must read "Private Security Guard", & patches must contain the name of the private security company. Badges and patches may not contain a prominent star or a seal of the federal or any state or local government.
. The outermost top garment must read "SECURITY" on the back, with the letters being a minimum of 3 inches high. Button-down shirts are exempt from this.
. Masks are not authorized to wear, with the exemption of a PSG being deployed in a "sufficiently hazardous working environment", such as wearing a medical mask while inside of a hospital full of sick people or wearing a respirator while in a hazardous material processing facility.
. Law enforcement officers employed as Private Security Guards are never authorized to wear their uniforms while acting as a Private Security Guard, including referencing themself as a member of law enforcement or having law enforcement powers, including showing law enforcement identification or a badge.
. The following words may never be used:
Officer
Police
Patrolman
Agent
Sheriff
Deputy
Marshall
Public Safety
Law Enforcement
Vehicle marking regulations are as follows:
. May not be predominately blue, brown, black, or green (except for lime green).
. Must be marked
. Never permitted to have rotating or strobe lights.
. Vehicles registered as private security vehicles are issued license plates that are pink with white lettering that read "Private Security Guard Car".
The best type of firearm that is authorized to possess while on duty is a single revolver in .38 special.
.357 magnum revolvers, so long as they are not initially loaded with .357 magnum rounds, are tolerated.
Non-nfa non-repeating firearms, in general, may also be authorized to possess as an alternative to the .38 special revolver.
The types of ammunition that may be possessed is also restricted, with the following not authorized:
. Armor piercing, including Teflon-coated.
. Hollow points.
. Exploding.
. Reloads.
